Chief Executive Officer

Edward Chu is NYT’s CEO. He is a dynamic, hands-on leader with an MBA and 15+ years of direct government contracting experience. He is also a Life and Leadership Coach who manages his upper-level management team of exceptional professionals with understanding, open honest communication, and enthusiasm for the future. His group’s development of industry-leading asset and personal property management procedures and technologies raised NIH Property processes to Gold-level standards. Edward’s optimistic attitude and tremendous belief in his team’s knowledge, skills, and abilities opened the door for positive change across the board at NYT. His passion and vision for the future makes him the perfect person to lead this company’s talented, upbeat group of professionals.

Edward also has a passion for dance, and he’s good as he loves to “trip the light fantastic” whenever possible as a founding member of the NOVA Social Dance group, which promotes Latin style dance opportunities for hundreds of enthusiasts in Northern Virginia.

Sr. Director of Business Operations

Steve Tucker is NYT’s Sr Director of Business Operations. He has 25+ years of experience directly supporting NYT’s NIH daily contract obligations, successfully rising through the ranks, literally holding every contract position, to become the outstanding leader he is today. This unique journey has made Steve an industry expert in the fields of Asset Management, Asset Tracking, and Warehouse Operations, making him an invaluable member of our senior leadership team. With these above-board abilities, Mr. Tucker skillfully oversees all NYT daily government NIH contract operations in addition to his role as a member of the upper management team responsible for overseeing all company functions.

Steve is also a big baseball fan, which stems from his time playing in college and successfully co-coaching winning Little League teams like The Big Red Machine, who made it to the Little League World Series Regionals!

Cassandra D. Kleinsorgen-Lalos

Sr. Director of HR, HRM, SHRM-SCP

Cassandra Kleinsorgen-Lalos is NYT’s top HR leader as Sr. Director of HR. She possesses a SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, an HRM, a BS in Business Administration (HR Conc.), a great sense of humor, and a penchant for the creative. She has 15+ years of experience in HR management, strategy, and talent acquisition, making her an invaluable asset to the senior leadership team. Cassandra’s HR track record of successfully building HR functions from the ground up can be clearly seen at NYT, as her changes not only revolutionized the company’s culture but also bolstered retention, performance, and engagement across the board.

Ms. Lalos is a strategic HR thinker and visionary who positively influences the upper management team as a business partner, significantly assisting in fueling positive organizational development throughout the company.

Ryan Neff

Director of Employee Relations

Mr. Neff supports NYT as the Director of Employee Relations and the NCI Work Supervisor. He has 15+ years of hands-on large-scale NIH warehouse and inventory experience. Knowledge he’s gained from successfully supervising the NIH NCI IT warehouse staff for over 10+ years and tracking large-scale accountable assets in multiple positions for the NIH. Mr. Neff also possesses a BS in Marketing and excellent people management skills that enhance his ability to retain, engage, and supervise employees. This experience gives him a higher-than-average comprehension of the NIH warehouse and inventory processes. These above-board skills help NYT and NIH refine processes to Gold-level standards.

In his spare time, Ryan enjoys coaching youth sports and spending time with his three beautiful children! His sons are just like their father, who played football in college, dominating the field! Trust us, you don’t want to face Ryan’s team in our annual kickball tournament!

Randel V. Thompson

Operations Coordinator

Mr. Thompson is NYTs Operations Coordinator, and he does an amazing job ensuring our business runs efficiently administratively, contributing significantly to our overall success. Randel works across multiple departments, aiding in communication between NYT corporate executives and its consultants in the field. He has a BA in Criminology and years of experience in operations thanks to his time serving our country in the Air Force. Randel’s positive, upbeat attitude and infectious smile are a shining example for our entire executive team! We can’t help but smile whenever we’re around him!

In his free time, Randel enjoys watching sports, taking cruises, and vacationing with his lovely wife, their two adorable daughters, family, and friends.

Senior Software Developer

Mr. Lin is NYT’s Senior Software Developer, and he is a rare gem in the computer programming arena, solving complex technical problems with ease while navigating some of the most advanced applications in the industry to develop new software. He has a BS in Computer Science and decades of experience that span the full breadth of today’s developer technology, such as C#.NET and VB.NET 2022/2019, Asp.net/Asp .net core, C++, Windows service/Web Service/ Web Application development, Compact Framework, Smart/mobile device development, Database development with latest SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL and other latest database engines, MS Access, Visual Foxpro, ADO and ADO.NET, VB6. SQL reporting service/Active Reports/Crystal Reports and other latest reports engine and tools.

In his free time, Steve enjoys walking in nature and spending time with friends and family.
